In the Concert Marquee

What's on....

………..for our 4th festival the programme includes a number of performances that you may miss altogether unless you catch them at Shepley. American Tim O’ Brien is a guest musician on the new album ‘ Mark the Hard Earth’  by Kris Drever. Appearing on Friday night this is one of only a handful of dates these fantastic musicians are doing together. Essex instrumentalists Mawkin joined Devon singer Jim Causley to create one hell of a boyband, Mawkin:Causley. This lively quintet returns to headline Friday night. Well loved in Scotland but largely unknown here we welcome on Saturday a hugely talented duo from Orkney, Saltfishforty. Another new venture will be an acoustic set with a new repertoire from the Jim Moray Trio featuring Jim with friends Nick Cooke and James Delarre. Saturday night will climax with the amazing Seth Lakeman. Concerts continue through until late on Sunday night and highlights of the final day include award winning Jackie Oates, our festival patron Roy Bailey and a concert finale to celebrate the launch of their latest album from the captivating acappella trio Coope, Boyes and Simpson. Also appearing over the weekend will be The Young’uns, Kevin Dempsey & Joe Broughton, Craig, Morgan & Robson, Lucy Farrell & Jonny Kearney, Brian Peters, Skalder, Olivia Chaney, from Shepley village Jack Rutter and friends in Moore, Moss, Rutter and performing songs collected from his native South Pennines the celebrated Will Noble.
